How it works
A technician installs the system in one visit and you run the alarm from your phone. You don’t need a security company contract, and you can add a patrol if you want.

Request You fill in a short form.
We only ask what we need to choose the kit: apartment or house, how many entrances, any pets, buy or rent. We call you within one working day and help you choose a package. The request does not commit you to anything.

02Step 2
Installation One visit, no cables.
The technician comes at the agreed time, screws the sensors to the wall or ceiling and plugs the hub into a socket. No cables are run. The technician sets up the app on your phone, gives on-site training and explains everything. The visit usually takes a couple of hours.

03Step 3
Arming You are in control.
When you leave, you arm the system from the keypad, a key fob or your phone. In night mode the doors, windows and outdoor sensors are armed and you can move freely indoors. The app shows who disarmed the system and when.

04Step 4
Alarm The alert comes straight to your phone.
When a sensor goes off, the siren starts and every user gets an alert showing which sensor and what time. The camera sensor sends photos too. Then you decide: cancel a false alarm, call a neighbour or 112, or send the patrol if you have one.

Patrol if you want
GSMvalve is not a security company and you don’t need a monitoring contract with us. If you want a patrol to drive out when the alarm goes off, we ask a partner in your area for an offer and connect the system to their centre. The price depends on the location and is agreed separately.

What if… The power goes out?
The hub has a battery and keeps working without power. Alerts go out over the mobile network.
What if… The internet goes down?
The hub has a SIM card and mobile data is part of the monthly fee. Home Wi-Fi is just a backup connection.
What if… A battery runs low?
The app tells you in good time which sensor needs a new battery. Batteries usually last for years.
What if… A device breaks?
If you rent, repairs are charged by the price list. If you buy, the warranty applies; after that a technician call-out costs from 35,20 €.
What if… I move?
The technician takes the devices down and installs them in your new home. From 35,20 €, plus 70,40 € for each further hour started.
What if… I want to stop?
If you rent, you give 3 months’ notice and the technician collects the devices. If you bought, you also give 3 months’ notice to end the monthly fee, and the devices stay yours.
What if… A pet moves around at home?
The motion sensors ignore pets up to 30 kg. In night mode the indoor sensors are switched off anyway.
What if… It is a false alarm?
Cancel it in the app or on the keypad. The patrol only goes out if you don’t cancel it yourself.
Buy or rent
If you buy
The devices are yours. After that you pay 9,18 €/month for the app, mobile connection and customer support. Extra devices don’t raise the monthly fee.
If you rent
The devices are part of the monthly fee and stay our property; maintenance and repairs are charged by the price list. At least 3 months, with 3 months’ notice to end.
Either way
A technician installs it, the app is the same and you can add a patrol. Prices include VAT.

The technician checks on site where the sensors fit best, gives training and explains everything.
