Accessibility

GSMvalve OÜ wants valve.ee to be usable by everyone, including with a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or higher contrast. Here we describe how the service works, how well the website meets the accessibility requirements and how to get help.

What this information covers

This information covers the valve.ee website: all pages, the call-back form, the order forms (“Place order” and “Build your own”) and the withdrawal form. The alarm system’s mobile app is made by another manufacturer, who is responsible for its accessibility.

How the service works

• Choose a package or build your own kit. Prices are shown including VAT, separately for buying and renting.
• Fill in the request or order form. There is no online payment.
• Within one working day we send the confirmation, contract and invoice by e-mail and agree a time for the technician. The contract takes effect when you sign it, and the technician comes once the first invoice is paid.
• Once the payment has arrived, the technician installs the system in one visit, gives on-site training and explains everything.

How we assessed it

We assessed the website against the European standard EN 301 549 (version 3.2.1) and the WCAG 2.1 AA level. Our target is WCAG 2.2 AA. We did the assessment ourselves on 7 and 8 October 2026: automated checks, a keyboard walk-through and contrast measurements on the main pages.

Compliance

The website partly meets the requirements. Below is what has been done and what is still missing.

What has been done

• Form fields are linked to their labels, and groups of options have a heading.
• The website can be used with a keyboard, and the keyboard focus is clearly visible.
• Text in the normal view has enough contrast (at least 4.5:1, large text 3:1).
• In the header there is a “Higher contrast” button that makes all text readable with a contrast of at least 7:1. Your choice is remembered.
• Images have a text description, and decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
• Headings are in a logical order.
• The website also works on a narrow phone screen.
• On the cookie bar, “Decline” and “Accept” are equally visible.

Known gaps and alternatives

• The 3D view on the home page is visual only. The same information is given as text on the same page and on the page Devices.
• Google reCAPTCHA, the spam check on the forms, can be hard for some users. If the check fails, write to us at info@gsmvalve.ee, no form needed.
• The price calculator on the “Build your own” page needs JavaScript. If it doesn’t work, leave your number and we help you choose on the phone.
• The map on the contact page comes from Google Maps. The address is also on the same page as text.

Help and feedback

If part of the website doesn’t work for you or you need the information in another form (for example in larger print, simpler language or read aloud), write to info@gsmvalve.ee. We reply within one working day and find a solution, for example by sending the information by e-mail or calling you back.

Supervision

Compliance with the accessibility requirements is supervised by the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA, ttja.ee). If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact TTJA.
