How to install it yourself
The mounting screws are in the box. A technician can install the sensors if you prefer.
Hub into a socket
Plug the hub into a socket. The SIM card is inside and already active, no internet or router needed.
Sensor on the ceiling
Screw the sensor base to the ceiling away from the wall and clip the sensor onto it. It is already paired with the hub.
App on your phone
We send you an invitation to the app. Then you can add your family and neighbour so they get the alerts too.

One sensor detects smoke, carbon monoxide and temperature. The hub alerts your phone even if the power or internet goes down.
Hub
Into a socket. It has a battery and a SIM card inside, so it works during power and internet cuts.

Detects smoke, carbon monoxide and rising temperature. The sensor has its own siren and you also get an alert on your phone.
App on your phone
Alerts go to everyone you add. You see the sensor battery level and whether the hub is connected.

Does it suit a summer house?
Yes. The hub has a SIM card, so no internet is needed. All you need is a socket and mobile coverage.
Do I need a CO sensor?
If you have a stove, fireplace, gas cooker or a garage attached to the house, yes. Carbon monoxide has no smell and a normal smoke detector cannot sense it. If your home has a gas appliance connected to a chimney, a CO detector has been required since 2018.
Can I extend it to a full security system later?
Yes. Same hub: add sensors one at a time or take the Start package devices without the hub.
Is a smoke detector required?
Yes, under the Fire Safety Act every home must have at least one smoke detector. This one meets the requirement and also alerts your phone.
